About Chain Weavers
ChainWeavers is a small cottage industry. It is my pleasure to provide high quality open jump rings in a variety of metals to my customers. I purchase my wire from highly respected American companies specializing in precious metals.
The wrapping of wire into
coils, cutting the coils with a high-speed precision saw, tumbling the
rings to remove any small burs they may have and bring the rings to a
high shine… it is all done in house by me (as is the packaging and
shipping). I am a professional chain maker and take pride in the
quality of the rings I provide.
About Me
I am a
classically trained entomologist. (Yeah bugs!)
I started making chains several years ago (when silver was
$4/ounce). It started out a hobby and quickly turned into an
obsession, and then a passion. I have recently turned my efforts
to learning other types of metalworking in order to complement my
chains. I am drawn to classical techniques of granulation and
filigree.
I do a couple
of shows a year with my jewelry and you can find my jewelry in the
following galleries/boutiques:
